Special Focus: Japanese White Pine

Skill level: INTERMEDIATE

Seated at the court of bonsai royalty, the Five-Needle Pine or Japanese White Pine is considered the queen of traditional bonsai. This pine is a beautiful blue-green hue, and its five-needle structure creates a much denser, more cloud-like canopy. In this class, students will prune, wire, and pot a beautiful White Pine pre-bonsai with attention to shape and structure. Proper care and maintenance will be discussed to ensure success with your new bonsai.

Includes all materials required to take the class.
