Master Class: Kishu Shimpaku

Master Class - Kishu Shimpaku

Master Class: Kishu Shimpaku

Taught by Zuma Fleischmann
Skill level: Intermediate

The Kishu is a type of Shimpaku Juniper, and as such is a highly sought out variety. What differentiates the kishu is that it has much denser foliage, which gives students the opportunity to create more defined, cloudlike pads for a classic bonsai aesthetic.

This class is designed as a two-part course. The first 4-hour installment will focus on wiring and refining your tree, and the second will allow for root pruning and repotting. Both sessions are included in the price of the class, and you will have the opportunity to choose from among our scheduled Master Class Repotting dates (not listed).

Includes all materials required to take the class.
