In addition to many free educational events and clinics throughout the year (check our news and events page for listings), we offer the following services:

Tree-sitting and Boarding:

Going away? Or do you feel that your tree could benefit from a few weeks in a greenhouse during those dark winter months? Bring your Bonsai in, and we'll look after it for you, so you can be sure it gets the best possible care.
Rates: per tree: $5.00/week; larger trees: $7.50/wk

Hospital Services:

If your Bonsai doesn't seem to be thriving, revitalize it with the Bonsai West Cure! The basic service includes root pruning, repotting, trimming, and remossing, as well as a one-month stay in out greenhouse. Because of the isolation and special handling required to treat insect-infested trees, we reserve the right to refuse services.
Rates: $30; Boarding fees of $5.00 per week apply for extended care.
Larger trees: $7.50/wk

Restyling and Wiring:

Training and reshaping your tree will be done in consultation with our Bonsai artists.
Rates: $50/hour

Insect Treatment:

$10.00

WINTER BOARDING     (rates include: fertilizing, weeding, dormant spray and, of course, watering Oct-Apr)

Winter is the most difficult time for most trees. Bring your Outdoor Bonsai to our nurseries anytime from October to mid-November. We'll take care of them in our temperature-controlled storage facilities through April.

Cold hardy trees (charges are for the entire season, October - April):

Medium/small trees:
$68.00 first tree
$38.00 each additional (up to 45 linear inches*)
repotting: $35

Larger trees:
$85.00 each (up to 60 linear inches*)
repotting: $45

Extra large specimens:
$135.00
repotting: $75

Jumbo Trees:
Prices as quoted
repotting: $75

Tropical Trees in our Heated Greenhouse (charges apply by the month):

$20.00 (up to 45 linear inches*) per tree/month
Larger trees (up to 60 linear inches*) $30.00/ month

*tree's height from top of pot plus width at widest point
